Speaking AV Requirements

From Rod Beckstrom - The Starfish and The Spider

Rod uses a laptop with Microsoft PowerPoint to present.

Required:

A power cord to the podium or confidence table.

An American adapter plug if outside the U.S.

A good PC audio visual projector and screen.

A lavalier microphone.

A confidence table for the PPT driving laptop PC or a monitor.

A white board or paper board to draw on.

Fat, fresh magic markers which can be seen from the back of the room (black and perhaps green or blue).

Appropriate speaker lighting.

Nice to have but not essential:

A back-up PC with a USB port to plug a USB flash drive into to upload PPT presentation.
